New Palm Powered Smartphone
Announced today, the Palm Powered Xplore M68 smartphone is the fourth-generation product from Palm OS licensee GSPDA. Based on Palm OS® Garnet, the Xplore M68 delivers enhanced multi media features, Bluetooth and a higher resolution integrated camera. The GSPDA Xplore M68 is now available through distributors in France, Germany, Italy and Spain. Pricing will be determined by the individual distributors.

Newly launched today are eight software applications that leverage the advanced functionality of Palm Powered devices to enable users to manage complex information, store photos, access news, stream music, send instant messages (IM) and participate in online auctions from anywhere. Also announced today, Qualphone, Inc. has joined the Palm Powered™ Mobile World program. In the first phase of the collaboration, Qualphone will work together with PalmSource to port its Push-to-talk over Cellular (PoC) client to the Palm OS® platform. Together with Palm OS, the solution is designed to provide users with an easy-to-use and reliable push-to-talk experience on Palm Powered phones and mobile devices.
