"WHOA" was the first word I said when I began playing Arcade Reality. Well, rightly so, because no other game in my Treo has captured my attention this intense.
Basically, Arcade Reality is a shooter: I have a weapon, I aim, and I shoot at the flying targets. However, the game adds one important and vital factor that makes it stand above and beyond the rest: Treo camera support.
Not only can I see my targets apparently rendered around me, I can also move around to search for and shoot the targets. A simple Elite-like-radar and info bar helps track down enemies and helps manage my weapons. But then, I was shot at too and here, Arcade Reality effectively renders damage and static onscreen which only adds to the excitement! As a result, during my last game, I was quickly moving around our living room trying to track down pesky alien moths on our TV and under the couch. (My wife of course, took a glance at me but didn't mind me at all... you see, she's already used to seeing me with the Wii... but that's another story...)
Now let's take a look at the game modes.
There are four modes: Training, Arcade Reality, Infinite Shooter, and Asteroids Mode.
Training mode offers Basic Shooting, Rockets, Defense, Zoom lenses, and Cargo. Unbelievably, I went through Basic Shooting when I first started Arcade Reality. This is where I was immediately impressed with the game... imagine how happily surprised I was with the actual game...
Arcade Reality is the main game. Enemy waves appear for you to deal with. Prepare to move around a lot, get dizzy, and yeah, even sweat!
Infinite Shooter lets you relax by killing everything that moves. No real objectives, levels, and missions in this one.
Asteroids Mode is like having a remote controlled ship that you fly around the room to chase after asteroids. It's a challenge to figure out the ship's orientation but RC hobbyists should be right at home within this mode.
The game menu also includes the following:
Settings
Vibration, Game Music volume, Game Sfx volume, Menu Music, and Brightness Boost. I prefer to have Vibration and Brightness Boost checked.

About
Arcade Reality is at version 1.0. It is written by Szymon Ulatowski. Music is licensed from Shockwave-Sound.
In conclusion, Arcade Reality earns my highest whoa factor. It's impressive for its ingenious use of the Treo camera, fast rendering, effective graphics and sound effects, and great music tracks. If you have a Treo 600, 650, 700p, Arcade Reality is definitely something not to miss.
Arcade Reality is $14.95 but a demo is available for you to check out.
