Palm, Inc. today announced that John Hartnett has been promoted to senior vice president, worldwide sales and customer relations. Hartnett reports to Ed Colligan, Palm president and chief executive officer.
"John's leadership and success in the Americas gives me great
confidence in his ability to expand Palm's market share worldwide,"
said Colligan. "We've had tremendous success growing Treo smartphone
sales in the United States, and we see substantial opportunities for
success in Europe and Asia as well."
