Following Todd Bradley, palmOne's CEO, David Nagel, PalmSource's CEO also steps down.
On a surprise announcement, a day before the the PalmSource Developer Conference, David Nagel, CEO of PalmSource announced his resignation. No reason was given. Senior vice president of worlwide licensing, Patrick McVeigh, has been named as interim CEO.

"PalmSource Inc., a developer of software for cell phones and other mobile devices, said Monday that David Nagel, its president, chief executive and a director, stepped down on Sunday. The company named Patrick McVeigh, senior vice president of worldwide licensing, as interim chief executive.
Nagel, 60, did not give a reason for his departure. He will stay at PalmSource in an advisory role through mid-July. PalmSource said its board has started to search for a permanent successor.
Before joining PalmSource in February, McVeigh, 53, was chief executive of Aliph Corp., a developer of audio and speech technologies for mobile communications devices. He was also head of worldwide sales, international marketing and operations at Palm Inc., which spun off PalmSource in October 2003."
