 | One other thing, I have Landscape and have set the rotaion settings to start EDGE in portrait. For some reason EDGE still starts in landscape, I have to reset the handheld, then EDGE will start in portrait. Has anyone else experienced this minor issue? I think it might be because I have EDGE of my card and am starting it with a shortcut in Zlauncher. Any ideas? |

| WOW? How did you get it into landscape. Did you use the Landscape prgram?
Do you have EDGE in RAM or on a card? | |

| Woopsies, tried it now and I see what you all are talking bout. It seems to get it to work landscape you have to open EDGE First on portrait, then exit, fix it so EDGE works in landscape, then open again to get rid of the wierd colors. Worked good yesterday cuz I didn't exit at all yesterday. Seems have to do it this way everytime you power back on the system >_< | |

| That didn't work for you? ;_;. Sorry to hear bout that as it worked fine for me. I have everything but the main EDGE prc on my card. Landscape is nice. Maybe a fresh install might do the trick. I'm runnin out of thing up my sleeve here heheh. | |

| Nope no go. Still just portrait for me. My other problem is solved though. After I moved the main prc to RAM I can now use the rotation settings to force the portrait startup. | |

| This game is exactly what I expected it to be: Amazing! Job well done R. Zane Rutledge! For what it's worth to others, I am averaging between 16 and 18 FPS with background music enabled on my TH55. For those having speed issues with Background music enabled, I have found a couple of typical causes for this. One is with Palmary Clock and Pocket Tunes. For some reason, using music files (ogg, mp3 etc) really slows down the device, even after the alarm has been silenced. I think it has something to do with Pocket Tunes background play. Doing a soft reset fixes the problem every time. I've noticed the slowdown with several games. Warfare, Zuma, etc. Basically, anything which slows down the device will severely impact the performance of a game like this. Especially things like Fontsmoother and ZL Quicklaunch. Try disabling some of these things and soft reset then see if EDGE works a bit better with Background music enabled. Palm Internals is an excellent tool for helping test system speed. Good luck!
Some other apps to watch out for which seem to impact system performance:
-McPhling
-Hi Launcher
-Fonts4OS5
-TechSounds
-YAHM
-CodeDiver
-THeUtil
Something which I use which may speed things up a bit is the FAT32 Driver.

| Well I have searched through my TH55 and the only programs I have that I can guess might be causing the error are Graffitti Anywhere (not active), Codediver (but not activated on EDGE), and that's pretty much it. Portrait is great, but dang in landscape is available it bothers me not to have it. I have now made it to level 3 and the little purchse box keeps coming up. Zane will seperate me of 24.99 very soon. | |

| This game is amazing! Cache mode hogs up ram but if you leave it off it just takes a second or two to load up, still leaving me with 7.2 megs free so i can play bejewled2, Legacy and WI.
Awesome game
Lvl 2 now....cant find that damn bow :P | |

|  Tips to get running
First of all... guys... if you read my quick review it says to disable hacks... this means anything which has system effect like the latest and greatest skinning apps (add Edge to the exclude list and if its PalmRevolt, remove all the 'check marks' as well). This includes also graffiti applications like NewPen which can cause Edge to refresh the display to many times.
I get 15 frames per second and you can modify the FPS to get a smother game experience in the menu. You will find more menu items if you scroll down 
Before you hash and slash your way through the levels... in the home town (yeah.. you start there) go to one of the NPC (Non Player Characters) teams and join. Like if you are a thief, find the thief and join his club. If you switch clubs you reset your level. The club guy is also where you go to upgrade to a new level when you get enough points. Its not like diablo, you dont get upgraded automaticly, so dont expect to hash and slash forever... you need to go back to your home to get some things.
If you dont like having to press done after every map load, you'll find it in the settings if you scroll down a bit. For your FPS, there is a time demo toggle in the settings as well.
Save constantly... it doesn't cost anything
After any fight, find a quiet spot far from slayed or non slayed beasts and tap the moon icon (the icon before the last) and it will give you some health points. You can only do this once every a few moments, so move around and go back and tap the moon icon to revive yourself when you are away from town or some nice drink to bring you back to your senses.
When you gain a weapon... tap the weapon icon (the second icon) twice and tap a slot (like a ring slot) and select an item to fill that spot. No drag & drop guys.
OK... I have got to say that this is a great game... you got it going on zane
