| Three years ago, a 480 x 320 screen and wifi capable palm was something you could only dream about. Now it's here. Ahhhhh the advancement ot technology, what can the future possibly hold? |

| It is ok. I mean, why did it take so long? Not a big deal now. A couple of years ago, WiFi and Bluetooth were not needed, and would have been cool. But since almost all devices have them now, it doesn't matter.

Of course these features were being offered on the Sony Clie PEG-TH55 a year and a half or so ago, so the dream actually came true a little while ago.
Palm would SO love for us to forget that.
What you are actually seeing is Palm's turn at "advancement of technology", as always a bit late to the line.
Hopefully not without a few lessons learned, however!
No early adopter I, but I will watch this closely, as it stacks up pretty well!

| Lets see if:
a)The screen bhizzes
b)The power button breaks
c)other typical PalmOne problems
Honestly now, has Palm Inc ever got a truly flawless product out to the market after the III. Their stuff is good, but it usually has a real achilles heel. Anyways, since the achilles heel always is the same... |

| If it is flawless, it is not a Palm PDA.

No early adopter I, but I will watch this closely, as it stacks up pretty well! | True, palm is so slooow moving forward in technology Personally, i'm waiting much more from palm than new tungsten with 320x480 screen and wlan .
I waiting atleast 18bit color screens or like psp 24bit screen. Also with camera and with palm os cobalt which we have waited for ages now!
I have had even feeling that palm doesn't even do anything in their company! Lifedrive was quite big jump i gotta admit from for example t3 but still it wasn't the perfect pda. More full of bugs and problems filled gadget without palm os cobalt.
Hard to say but i have to admit also that palm os is going to die. I'm sure about it even now when it has come to official point. I mean that now palm is going change it's systems basis to ppc system . At this point we don't know does palm even produce any palm os based devices except this.
__________________ Sony Clie Th55 = Simple as that, the the best pda what I have ever owned! However even it didn't keep me in the Pda world. About my gadgets, I'm now just using my psp, camera and cellphone. Maybe I will someday get a new pda, but it must to have phone cababilities so I don't need to use my regular cellphone anymore. And yeah, this means I won't be hanging in here 1src that much anymore. If someone want me to remove unfinished threads from 1src or something just pm me. Keep your gadgets running! |
