| Thanks !
I was wondering, are these numbers consistent ? Did anybody try it ? Because my numbers with original battery are so low (1h, even for an old battery it's very few) and with a new one 1000 mAh (from DSLITE) it's just 2h ...
Maybe my machine have a problem ... |

| battery on time Yes, 1 hour is a very short time. My Clie was acting like yours. I got a new battery and now it will stay on for about 5.5 hours under continous use,e.g. playing movies.
FWIW, I got the battery on ebay. Its a 850 mah cell. My understanding is that the original battery is 750 mah. There are quite a few replacements that are 750...and some are 850 mah - you have to look for them. My battery came with a cheap (but effective) screwdriver that mates with the 'star' shaped screw heads that hold the case together. (Why Sony used this oddball screw I'll never know). I suggest you look for that ebay seller because you will never be able to remove the screws unless you have that special driver.
Good luck |

| Well, thanks, even if i have "special" tools like scalpels and it worked fine for opening the case.
I still want to try some modding, after all, i got this UX mainly for this, as i have the fabulous VZ90 as main PDA. |

| Hmmm ... just a stupid question ...
Batterytime is supposed to be used with backlight at the maximum or at the minimum ? |

| It depends on the 'default' test setup. If the results expressed are unclarified, then the results are somewhat meaningless - you would have to assume something about the condition of the backlight. |

| Hahaha ... so,on my UX, if I have 1h20 with full 100% backlight on and its oooooold original battery, maybe it's quite normal, keeping in mind the age of the battery ? |

| Hahahaha !
So i simply didn't use Batterytime properly before.
With my almost new DSlite battery adapted to the UX, i get about 2,20 hours backlight ON at maximum level and 4,42 hours backlight ON but at minimum level. |

| it might be a good idea to try out battery test aswell, there is a huge set of results from loads of people using their ux
heres the link http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85136
so you can easily test and compare your results
also there is no problem with backlight level as the program tests the unit at 50% automatically so you can directly compare your th55 battary, the old ux battery and the gameboy battery

| Well, with my modded DSlite battery, i just reached 4,4h bluetooth off and backlight on but at minimum level. It seems that backlight level makes a huge difference for this test !
And you, what are your results ? |
