| Square learned from their mistakes.. With Spirits within and Corrected it with Advent Children! Its one heck of a beatiful movie! Love the 'digitzied' intro and the attention to detail is amazing, the reflections everywhere, on the bike, sword, water . MUST see for any FF fan, just for a fight scene with a summon creature itself

| *LOL* You're joking right?!!
What's going on with their games now days? They've turned into teeny-bop fasion show games with enough pop music to make any hard core RPG fan vomit on the spot.

| LOL, thats for sure, I want the old RPG classics like FF 6 and 7, lil more mature games . Even tatics from Playstation instead of advance one. As for the movie, no way , this is not a kiddy style CG movie. This one goes to show that CGI can be realistic..and GREAT too, unlike the toon CGI and that fabled 'spirits' movie. The fight scenes themselves are worth the money, also the 'coolness' of that bike of clouds |

| I'll watch it on HBO.
I prefer even the older RPG games, but FF7 was the last one my friend liked. I've only played the GB version of FF.
My favorite CG is pretty much whatever Pixar does since they are the kings. The only thing that I liked about FF the Spit within, was the shaders. They used RenderMan, which is a Pixar product.

| You crazy!! Pixar has nothing on Square Enix!!! Pixar is alright for the toon style CG, but Square is great for great CGI Work . The action scenes are just drops your jaw to the floor and doesn't let go till the end ^_^. |

| What are you smoking???
Pixar "pioneered" most 3D technology. If it were not for Pixar, Square would not be able to model their stiff fasion dolls. You're dissing basically the father of modern 3D, the creators. Shame one you. Square is mearly a student of Pixar's greatness and still have years of learning, and will always rely on the technology that Pixar created.
Watch the Inrcredibles and look past the character styling, which I love by the way. They put the right amount of detail where it's needed and are unmatched when it comes to 3D animations. <PERIOD> Watch Monster's Inc. Notice that when snow is falling on Scullies fur how amazingly complex it is. I swear that I can even see it melting. Pixar invented Z-Buffering, and many other technologies found in modern 3D apps and games. THEY ARE THE REASON Square can create realistic looking stiff fasion dolls in the first place. RenderMan is the industry leader and Square uses it to texture and shade all of their models.

Pixar has way more talent than Square and this is painfully obvious. You just need to look. DreamWorks is another abomination when compared to Pixar. Square can "render" some purdy "dolls," but they certainly can't bring them to life like Pixar.
Lack realism wasn't the problem with the first FF movie, it just had a bland story that was pretty mediocer overall. The movie looked good, thanks to Pixar's technology, so it's obvious they just don't have the talent of a company like Pixar; BTW, Pixar does have the best 3D animators in the industry. https://renderman.pixar.com/
Take a look at what movie used RenderMan; https://renderman.pixar.com/

| Everyone knows that Spirits was dull and yet everyone who seens Advent knows that what they lost with Spirits will make up with Advent. Just watch the battle scenes and you'll see how good Square is . |

| *Yawn* It will be just like a "Shrek 2." Pixar doesn't have "duds!" The first movie they made, "Toy Story," is an all-time classic.
What's different about this fight scene; Did they add some floating flower peddals with pop music plalying in the background as the the two emfeminent guys duke it out with their "huge" swords?
But I will watch this on HBO. If I don't expect Pixar quality, then I'm OK with these second rate CGIs.
