| OK, I'm at his house now, he says he know what hes doing, I trust him. I dont know if I even got half my HDD backed up because my PB fell asleep during school, so either I trust him or I dont. So I do. Hope all goes well.

| No you won't need every file as a lot of them will be RPM packages (programs) like openoffice and such. The files you will need will probably be the root drive on the CD and a folder called images or ISO's or something.
Hope this helps.
ps I do not know if you will be able to boot because the drive may not be set with a suitable boot record. | |

| OK, thanks. I went to my friends brothers house, ended up not getting Linux installed on my powerBook, but know (I think) that the PB can boot from a USB drive. I knew I should've brought my LD cable! But its taped to the bottom of my desk.  So didnt bother...some other time, I hope...
