Clie E-Mail & Addresses Question...

Hi.

I have an nx70v, and I am using Clie mail to create mail w/ attachments, and then they send when I sync... My problem is that when I do the look-up for the address I wanna send to, it only pulls up 10-15 addy's out of the 50-60 I have in my address book. I tried going to the address book, but in there, I can't just have the addy from the address book pull up a new email.
I tried a free email client, but not only did it have the same addy issue, but it also was unable to allow attachments. Do you guys know of a good free solution to this issue? All I need is a client that will pull addresses from the addy book, allow attachments, and send on sync...

Thanks for any help...

That is not normal. I just opened Clie Mail on my NX-80, started a new email, tapped To, and all contacts from the address book with email addresses were available to me. I cannot imagine what may be wrong with your setup. Maybe you could try a hotsync with your contacts file set to "Desktop overwrites handheld". This would insure your Palm Desktop/Outlook contacts are definitely transferred to your Clie.

Also, make sure that the email addresses in your handheld are properly mapped as E-Mail, rather than Mobile or Fax. A slight oversight in Palm Desktop or Outlook can create a problem if entries are not properly mapped.

Regarding your inability to start an email from your address book...Open Address, open the drop-down menu and choose Options > Preferences and check "Enable Tap-Dialing or Tap-E-Mail-Address. See if that helps.
