NY in Tokyo Registered User Join Date: Oct 2004 Posts: 26	Network connection I have succeeded in connecting Fossil/Abacus wrist PDA to the internet!! Wrist PDA has no network files in its original ROM, so I installed the following files I got from the ROM for POSE (palmOS 4.1.2): Network.prc Network_enUS.prc PPP NetIF.prc PPP NetIF_enUS.prc After getting these files from ROM by "Export Database", I changed "Copy protect" and "Read only" attributes using PRCedit, and then installed them by hotsync. (PRCedit is here: you need old version (ver.1.0 beta)) http://pdassi.de/util/getdownload.p...dit.zip?id=2318 Now you can see "Network" in preferences panel, can get connection to the internet through Softick PPP via USB cable, and can use mail clients such as PaPi-Mail!! ps1. Files you need are here: these files are already non-copy-protected so just do sync to install them. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Z2Z0N418 ps2. You can go to the internet via infrared modem. I've exported the files, and downloaded PRCedit, but I'm afraid I'm at a loss as to how to go about it. If either one could help, I'd greatly appreciate it. Hi, DonValor, sorry for my slow response.
You need an old version of PRCedit: maybe ver. 1.0 beta or something.

I have just found the way to go to the internet through an infrafed modem.
The settings are as follows:

1.Select Connection:Infrared

2.Put the following lines in Details...>Script...

*Send:ATZ
*Send CR:
*Wait for:OK
*Send:ATDT12345678 <-phone number
