And I guess your jab at me really is missing my point, as you seem to be endorsing warez. Are you? You "put it aside for the moment" and have yet to confront the issue.
If, as you say, I'm the only one who's concerned about the increasing acceptance of ignoring EULAs and copyright notices and the open discussion of warez, what does that say about our community?

Honestly, I'm ambivalent about warez. In this case, I really don't believe it's problem. There's a difference, I think, between using something like Picsel Browser or Opera Mini and actually cracking a shareware app so you don't have to pay for it. |

Bummer you couldn't bring it up in our personal discussions. |
Dude, that stuff just occurred to me last night as we were recording. It wasn't in my original shownotes. And I'm still not sure it's right.
I still want bumpers for MaxGeek, I'm just kinda thinking out loud here. |

| The reason your company needs to let you have a treo.
1. If anyone can rant and rave on how to use something like a treo you come to mind.
2. See above reason. |

As I understand it, if Jeff marries a girl from eastern Europe and has a baby girl with her, he would name her Invanatreo.

I already figured as much, but it's nice to see you finally state your official position. I respect your opinion, and while I disagree with it, I'm not going to take a jab at you.
I am not ambivalent about warez, and I don't agree that there is enough of a distinction to justify ignoring EULAs and copyrights (which, by the way, you didn't have any trouble raising when it comes to Google News).
What's your official position about using your podcasts to take a personal jab at people with whom you disagree?

I formally apologize for taking a jab at you in the podcast. It was intended as a light-hearted jest, but you clearly didn't take it that way. Mea culpa. I didn't mean to offend you. |

| Anyone else hear a high pitched squeel during the podcast? Cause the headache it's giving me might keep me from listening to this insanely long podcast. |

| OK, so I fastforwarded because I can't take that screeching noise. Yes Jeff, I know I'm picky. What I really wanted to hear was your discussion of podcasting. I see where you're coming from but your missing something. The shorter format is better for some podcasts, but the beauty of podcasts is they can all be different. No two need to be done the same way. Personally I think a shorter format works best for 1src, it's really about news and I think it's more effective when it's on topic and to the point. I say you try "microcasting" the 1src cast for a week and see how it works.
I do think people need to be playing more with the format of podcasting, there are lots of possiblities and we see very few people trying different formats. The bottom line is palying with the medium is good, but I disagree with the statement that anyone has been doing it wrong. How can there be a wrong way to tackle a creative task like this? |

I actually found it funny when you Sharky brought up the UX series and you wanted to take a jab out of me. Lighten up people. When did you take a jab at you ballistic?

| This one I actually liked. I have Google Sidebar now. I love KMaps although the 320x320 res is kinda sucky. This was a long but get Podcast Two thumbs.

| Jeff,
Why is that your Mic makes such a annoying background hissing noise? I didn't hear that noise when Sharky was speaking.

| Jeff,
I have a Treo 650 and I don't need to use Kmaps because I have a TomTom 5 Navigator.
