 | Sorry for being disloyal buy I am looking for a PPC
Hey I Have been a trusty ux50 owner for almost 2 years now and I am getting bored and mad at it. I mean I love my ux50 dont get me wrong even thought I am getting a PPC I will keep using my ux50. But it doesnt do one thing that I would love it to do, and thats being able to watch videos from online websites, And me having to convert every dam thing I want to watch in MPG4 format. Anyway what I want to know is who has a ux50 and a ppc, which PPC is the best, I was looking at the dell x50v. Also do u know any good website like 1src for PPC users.

Since you are getting an Axim, you should try http://aximsite.com/ Waiting for the successor of the UX, the HTC Universal or the next Treo.

| i think u really shoudl wait for the HTC universal instead of getting the axim 50 because it is getting old.

I agree. For you to upgrade to WM5 with the X50, you need to pay plus the X50 was not made to support WM5 fully, meaning the device didn't come with it.

I disagree. The X50V is a great device and with WM5 it will be only better. The support for the intel 2700G graphic accelerator will boost it nicely. In fact, the universal will be slower- the processor is inferior and there is no graphics accelerator. | |

I guess your right seeing as the HTC Universal is a phone and the Dell Axim X50V is not. Phones usually have less features in them.

I just bought a Axim x50v and WM5 will ship in October at no additional cost. I know they have shipped a few with WM5.

| I have a Zodiac2, and an X50v, I love both, but I am really starting to like the X50v, it is growing on me. I see what Dell is doing can easily become the future of PDA's. The X50v feels real nice in my hands and is easily on of the best PDA's I've used. Most of the PPC horror stories are untrue with the X50v. Dell provides a great suite of utilities and support, so don't fear if something goes wrong, they should be able to help you. Also, if you do get the X50v go to aximsite.com as someome stated above, it has been able to help me out. If you chose to go with an iPaq (which I would advise against) go to www.davesipaq.com for help.

I have used several PPCs and have drifted away from the Palm world. Try iPaqHQ for a good user based site. I have an h4155, and have tried the hx2755, hx4705 and the rz3715, but the look and feel of the 4155 is hard to beat. What made it easier to make the move was the ability to load larger webpages on the PPC as oposed the UX50 I had.
