Sony Freak Registered User Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Australia Posts: 16	The plastic end cap part number next to the camera is: 4-676-024-01 Desciption of the part is: Ring (L), ornamental This part is held together by two pieces of double sided tapes. A talk with Sony Spares in Australia and Singapore indicates that this part is no longer available. You may want to try tiger direct, which I think they are selling for 6.49USD.

Hi! The Battery Cover part number is X-4626-130-1, description is LID ASSY, BATTERY CASE.

The quoted part number for tigerdirect above refers to the black flexible plastic adhesive that was attached to the internal battery. Cheers!

I figure, if I can get one of those I can make up an external battery box with rechargeable AAs and a regulator circuit to deliver 5.2V... Then I can charge or power the UX50 from the battery box, in it's cradle. Is it possible to buy just that plug, or a lead with it on the end?
