this is the first time i am trying TCPMP and i think it does not play mpeg4 video (video converted by IC2) as good as full movie player. it is kind of choppy, is this normal or am i doing somethign wrong? the video players smoothly on FMP but not in TCPMP.

It might be a bit slower with IC-produced files because TCPMP can't (Currently) use the MP3-decoding DSP.

But one thing worth checking is whether you have the GE2D accelerator enabled...

Try converting your files to AVIs before playing TCPMP. They play much better than MP4 video files (at least on my TH55).

Also, as Cyker mentioned, the choppy playback is most likely caused by the normal video driver thingmajiggy being used. Under the prefs, change to the GE2D display under the "video" menu. It'll make a world of difference.

I am going to keep using .r for now

Does anyone know if this ever got fixed?

I just noticed I can't get to the forums from that page. I always get a file not found error. Even my bookmarks don't work anymore.
Am I missing something?

I am also having troubles with those forums on both my Linux and Windows installs.
On a separate (and somewhat related) note, if you go to the TCPMP Test section, copy the download link for 0.66c, and paste it into your address bar, then change 'c' to 'd', you can download the latest version.
