Hehehe, now maybe those reviewers who gave it a bad recommendation because it said unstable might actually look into it .

Picard says he isnt going to make that distinction any more. Almost all of the releases are stabile. Unstabile was just on there so no one would complain, but they were never really unstabile, except new releases with added features.

TCPMP has the best OGG sound reproduction I have heard on POS! I can't believe how good it is compared to pTunes. It is good to see people value sound quality over "bells & whistles" (aka pTunes).

OGG vorbis decoding is done by the official Tremor library. As far as I know it can even be used in commercial projects, so I'am not sure why would pTunes use a different decoder.

I am back to using version 65.r -- anything after that produces intermittent skips on my TH55 playing a simple .avi files -- it's not too bad but noticeable.

Version 65r link: http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/...TABLE.0.65r.zip

And I have tried ALL test versions after .r including numerous x, y,z versions and the official .66 version

I am going to keep using .r for now

Sorry I forget to add the user option to deactive the periodic event checking added after .r which effects (slows down) Sony devices more as other devices (But without the event checking alarms or system events could be delayed)

Ah, thats why it does it. I really dont care about alarms and that type of event when I am playing movies. I would appreciate an option for it. Thanks.
