I purchased my LD June 13th trading up from a Cliè NX73V. I use a PDA as a laptop because it’s compact and I take it everywhere. With the LD I have been having trouble with the IR w/beaming and typing. I use the PalmOne keyboard and it's very stable when the IR is working. Just about twice a day, I have to due a soft reset in order to use the keyboard. On yesterday the soft resets would not work. Nothing! So I when to PalmOne, tech support, and followed the instructions which indicated that I first try a soft reset, then warm reset and if those options did not work, do a hard reset. After trying the first two, with no result I did a hard reset. Next I performed a re-sync and when the syncing cycle had completed my LD kept re-starting. I did another hard set cleared out my backup folder and started over and the end result was the same, re-starting. I went to do a third hard reset and nothing. No life!
