This expensive program has been updated to version 2 and now runs on OS5. If you use Info Select for Windows, this is a must to carry your data with you.
Info Select is a very stable PIM that has been around for years (late 80's/DOS!-Tornado Notes). I use it to store all the extraneous things that you want to keep track of, from small docs and numbers, to large files, emails, pics, etc. If a structured database is not to your liking, take a look at both products.
The best feature is the syncing capability between the two products. Info Select is my second brain; now I can carry a seamless subset of years of data in my palm!
I'd like to hear from others what you use to store all the stuff you create or want to save from the net, and how you then retrieve it.
I loved Tornado Notes and its successor Info Select. But the Palm version's $70! And that does NOT include a desktop version! And the demo version downloads a PC-only installer (.exe file) so Mac folks can't try it!
Feh.
What IS it about companies that can't supply their products as .prc files?
Yes; they are calling it a "preliminary version." Here's the email:
