Post Best Launcher for Lifedrive??

I know this may be obvious for some of you, but I wonder which is the best launcher for LifeDrive.

Hi-Launcher works well. I like simple solutions like this, very elegant.

I switched

I moved from ZLauncher to LauncherX because it seemed, and I think, is faster.

Even with the beta v5.30 of ZLauncher?

How's ZLauncher 5.30 Beta working? I still have 4.01 on my old Clie and I'm looking to go with Zlauncher again

I tried zlauncher beta 5.30 and it caused resets on my lifedrive (error message something like memory mgr line 3771, freehandle). I emailed zztechs and they said they have fixed that error with their latest beta. Will probably just wait for it to get out of beta before trying again. Also, I noticed that my LD seems to be faster without the zlauncher.

Yup, all the speed issues with the LD should be repaired with 5.30.. I'm also waiting for this version to come out. In the meantime, I uninstalled it and my LD is way faster. I'm sticking with the favorites app for now.

Sounds like I'll be waiting then for the official 5.30.

I am very satisfied with Megalauncher. There is also a new version available. (5.7). For such a big application with file manager and so on it is very snappy and stable. Look for Megalauncher at http://www.megasoft2000.com

Although I don't have a LD, LauncherX works beautifully on it and IMHO is the best launcher around!

I just installed LauncherX (had stopped using it on my TH55 as it already had two built in, neither as good at LauncherX) and it works quite well. Pretty quick. If you go on the launcherxplanet forum you can get the version 1.1.2b. It has a bit of extra code in it so that the center button on the 5-way works.
The LD doesn't allow for the apps button to be overwritten by another laucher but I hear there is a app/hack that will give you that power. Anyone know the name of that application? thanks!
