I work at a Staples in Roswell, Georgia (USA) and we have just gotten in the hard case and leather case for the LifeDrive, at US$50 and US$40 respectively.

New product availability is pretty uniform across US stores, so your local Staples should have it in.

I got my hard case a day early, and it is pretty good. The only problems I've had so far are that only the flap that covers the screen is made of metal, and it's a little noisy. Other than that, another fine case from PalmOne. There are holes for the audio jack, multiconnector, and reset hole on the bottom. The voice record and rotate buttons are covered by the metal flap, but you're not probably only going to use those with the screen uncovered anyway.

The LD stays in fairly securely, but a serious collison or really hard shaking (and I mean really hard) could cause the LD to fly out. The case may also be a little hard to get open if have extremely short fingernails, as you need to use them to pry open the metal flap, which snaps on pretty tight.

I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Good protection, looks really cool, holds pretty tight, but not the best by any means.
