| Has this been going on since the very start or after you installed a program? Do a quick search on Palm's website in support otherwise I would call them.

| Ususally resets are caused by a currupt database or something like that. Can you predict when it will reset? Like after you launch a certain app? Have you installed any third party apps reciently?

| Treo 650 resetting -- yep! I have the same problem. At one point, I was ready to send the thing back, because it would reset out of the blue! I.e.: I'd have it sit on a table or whatever and all of a sudden the start-melody for the phone would play... the device had resetted on its own and then re-started the phone.
I fixed that by placing a small wedge made of a toothpick end-piece at the far corner of the battery. As it turns out, the battery can skew a bit in the cavity, causing one of the contacts to disconnect (maybe dependent on heat?).
Unfortunately, that wasn't the all-out cure for resets.
I have resets when I change the color of the appointment "dot", I have resets (sometimes) when I try to save a document in Docs to go, I have resets...
When a reset does pop up, it is re-creatable. A colleague of mine has a 650 also, apparently, he hasn't had one reset yet! |

| Certain apps cause a reset about 50% of the time when just launching, but those are few. Other times, I've noticed that on the days I use DateBk5 a lot (during the week at work) it will reset at least once while saving an appointment or todo, then I can go back into it and try the same operation and it works fine.
The only other time I've noticed random reboot issues is when I have a 3rd party launcher installed. With MegaLauncher 2000 the reboots were BAD. I uninstalled it on a hunch, since it is an old version of the launcher, and the reboots reduced drastically. When I tried the lateset version of ZLauncher, the random reboots started to get bad again. So now I'm just sticking with the (limited) default launcher.
The ONLY reason I hate the default launcher is because you can't categorize apps on your SD card. I have all kinds of different apps on the card, so it's just annoying. And with the NVFS bloat, the shortcut from PowerRun ends up being almost the same size as the app itself a lot of the time, so that's not much of an option.
