Hehehe --- I was thinking about finding a wifi solution as well, then I realized that verizons high speed data network works just fine, it is slower than a wifi connection, but programs like Avantgo appear to sync just as fast.
Thanks for your input: I live in Europe, so no verizon, though I suppose there must be high- speed data possibilities here too, but since I pay a high per- minute price to be connected the wifi solution is definitely interesting especially when you can be connected for free like in a starbucks or bookshops.
BTW I noticed that the enfora web site is advertising their "sled" for much cheaper than the other on- line stores. It seems like wifi is becoming sufficiently ubiquitous to justify other treo solutions as well, like a card or something which would be less bulky than this sled...
