storing owners manual on handheld

Bare with me if this sounds so basic it creates intellectual nausea for some of the seasoned Clie Pros out there but here goes. Is there a way to save my owners manual or parts of it to my handheld? I like the idea of being able to read the more complicated info. that I never the leisure to digest in the many boring meetings that I am have to endure at work. I wish that Sony had a hard copy of the manuals available, as I find the CD-Rom format somewhat uninviting. Is there a way? I have Handstory and Isolo and have tried all the ways I know to clip excerps to my NX. , Francis

Have you tried you copy whatever you want in the CD manual and save it as a Word document? I would guess you could put in on your Clie if wanted. I haven't tried this but will, later this evening.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the manual in PDF? If it is, Repligo does a wonderful job with PDF documents. Actually, Repligo does a wonderful job with almost any document(Word, Excel, Web). It's definitely worth the $$. If you want a free viewer, download the Picsel viewer that everyone is talking about. It's very nice as well.

There is always the Adobe Acrobat Reader for Palm OS. I think it's free, and the manuals are in Acrobat format.

I agree, though - a hardcopy User's Manual would have been helpful when I got started.

Yes, RepliGo should do it, as some of the manuals are in PDF and the application manual is in html.

You may also be able to use iSilo or Handstory too, I have never tried it.

Sorry, it's a free site and I don't get much bandwidth. You'll just have to wait until they put it back up!

Franci-
I just copied a section of the manual, saved it as a Word Document, used Doc to Go, and transfered to my Clie. Works just great.

Hah,
there is only one problem..[might be also applicable in the USA]
the document is copyrighted and therefore AcroReader regrets to give it to the Palm conduit!!
I couldn't either copy and paste passages of the text. How did you do that???
