 | Need KB11 driver for TH55/E1
I just received the PEGA-KB11 keyboard from an eBay seller and discovered that it doesn't work with my new TH55/E1. The driver on the install disk is dated 7/2002 so this is well before the TH55 was introduced. Does anyone know if an updated KB11 driver exists that works with my TH55/E1?? Also, I'm a Macintosh user; does this make any difference to how I should use my TH55/E1? |

| Sorry to inform you of this, but KB11 doesn't work with the TH55. It was discussed a LOT here at one time, but that was 6+ months back. Going from memory, it has to do with either the variable clock speed in it's processor, or with some change in the wiring to the connector on the TH55. Sony sold the KB100 for a while. And it does work with the TH55 (at least I know it does on the US version). I still have my KB11 from a previous Clie (SJ33).

| Alternative Option. . .
I currently own the UX50, and I am using the new PalmOne Universal Wireless Keyboard (the one with dedicated # row.)
I've also been playing around with a TH55 and upon reading your post, I beamed the keyboard driver from my ux50 over to the TH55, and it works just as well as it does with the ux50.
The keyboard also has Palm OS shortcut keys that work quite well.

| Sorry to disappoint you. I too had a KB11 from a previous CLIE and followed the conversations here closely. No dice. You could do a search for the threads...some were pretty interesting. I read that a few people would have momentary success using it, if they did an archane series of steps. unfortunately, it stopped working almost immediately. | |

| Sooo much time passed ... But it may be still interesting for KB11 owners.
TH55 is working fine with KB11:
1. Install this driver
2. Install YAHM and G700 hack-driver from here
3. Run YAHM, attach G700 Hack and set up "Belkin" layout in driver settings
4. Enjoy
