| TROLL ALERT TROLL ALERT:
Something in the way euskalin posts makes me think he is not american, and only acts as a stereotype. It might be that he has an agenda to create discord - an agent provocateur.
My best guess is that he is in southern france or northern spain. He might be even euskal herria... basque... so ignore him.
Once again, people, do not feed the trolls. Do not feed into the BS. |

| touche! **** WARNING contains sarcasm !!! ****
touché!
first my boy let me say you are blind if you can't see your government has converted a one-man hunt in a massacre of civilians.
and yes man I'm not american: you can know that by my poor (let's say not-so-good) english.
and yes man I'm basque: you can know that by my nickname.
oh and yes man I'm unpatriotic: I believe in people, not in flags.
and yes man I'm a crucial part of the axis of evil. Go to say that to Powell. He'll tell Bush. But Bush won't tell you. The truth I mean. Now leave me alone, gotta go to wash the cat.
BTW: I have a Clie NX60, anyone knows how can I turn this into a mass destruction weapon?
**** end of sarcasm **** |

| Who here is military? Who here has been to the desert? Who here has seen what really happens out there? Who here can close their eyes and vision 100% WITHOUT A DOUBT,what it would be like in that country and the surrounding ones if somebody didn't do something? THEN SHUT UP! And do a little research, the news, they show what they want you to see. They show what's good for their ratings. The gov. plays the same games. You think you know what is said in private on a war counsil, you think a news station does? Get a grip on reality, my friends. How are you some sort of expert? I'd be more comfortable seeking your professional advice on brain surgery. I've been there, way more than once, I see the crap that happens. I know a lot more than the average person, and I know, you, me, 90% of the planet is not qualified to make such a decision.

| When an average person not working for a military (a civilian) grabs a bomb and kills a lot of innocent people, they cross a line into a group other than civilian. They become a terrorist or murderer, something. Same thing goes when they grab a gun and shoot at soldiers, they are no longer civilians, they become something of a militia, or if they do it for the money Sadam offers, a certifiable mercenary. If they get killed, they are a dead mercenary, not civilian. You all seem to live in a fantasy were we should all hold hands and settle arguments with bake-offs or gardening competitions. Occasionaly innocent civilians do die, but it would not be so if Sadam let them leave and didn't stack them like sand bag bunkers around his weapons.

I'd go for the bake-off or gardening competition. Actually I'd go for a multi event dual between leaders and those deciding to go to war. |

| I not a matter of pro anybody, its a matter of what works. I'm sure if you looked down the barrel of gun pointed at you and said "You know, how bout' we settle this like little fairies and loft pixie dust at eachother until the entire world joins hands and sing love train?", that'll work. Oh yeah you go talk to Saddam. If it was that easy, heck you could of written the letter over a decade ago, CC'd it to everyone on the globe and the world would a happy place. Your anti-war idea hasn't worked once in 4.5 Billion years, why would it magicaly start today? And keep in mind we tried it everyday for over a decade, with this ONE guy. He's going to change his mind tonite why.....?

| l0keman, by your reasoning we should be at war with everybody! There are so many disagreements in the world that are not settled despite years of trying.
The scary thing is that the current national security policy agrees with this line of reasoning. |

| No, my line of reasoning is try your way first. If you can, solve it at the lowest level possible. I don't want war, belive me, I'm the one that actualy fight s them by the way, but you have to say okay, this isn't working at some point. If war wasn't working, same applies, move on to something else, whatever it takes to solve the problem. I agree with you and everybody that is anti war, but only to the point of diminishing returns.
