| Ummm - so why would I want to pay $9.95 for a mine sweeper game? Is it a patriotic duty?
Is this game an attempt to capitalise on world events? The title of this post tends to suggest so...
Very patriotic, very capitalistic and completely under-whelming.
Note to denizens of ClieSource - I am not making a statement of the war in Iraq. I am more making a statement of the timing of release and inferences of the game. This really annoyed me that I decided to flame it.

| This is really unbelievable.
Nice to see just another mine sweeper relase, but usin that braindead terrorist and war context, while US troops murders thousands of the people of Iraq is simply barbaric.
Shame onto the developers. |

I kind of think we should keep our opinions of this game and its intent....away from our personal opinions of this war. I would hope for you to claim that "US troops murder thousands of the people of Iraq" that you have SOME idea as to whats going on before you call it "barbaric"
Sorry to all...Im sure most of you know me as laid back....but when it comes to the war, I support my country and see WAY to many people type garble without no idea what the big picture is. |

| The authors have made a piss poor decision here. Using death, destruction, terrorism to make some cash.

| bent, you arent supporting your country. You are supporting a bunch of murders which are at the US administration (w/o ever being elected) which are the only real enemy of the people of the US. And the big picture is simply to murder as many civilians as possible, cause thats whats war is about.
But this is some thread for the OffTopic forum. |

I guess you were one of the ones that was surprised and shocked on Sept 11th. Some people in this country really need a clue. (and by the way, all the recounts point to Bush as the clear winner - and I didn't vote for him, if thats what you want to know). I know you think an 11 year old kid is a civillian, but when he comes to your house or bus stop with explosives you'll sing a different tune. If you only knew half of what goes on in the middle east...you are however correct on one of your points...this belongs in OT, but your statement was so rediculous that I felt compelled to say something.

| Zork get a clue. I wont debate this anymore. You are entitled to your opinion. But at least base it on SOME form of fact. And dont EVER say I dont support my country. My work is to protect my community...and a lot of my free time is spent working in my community (without pay). What do YOU do? |

| Donate! My suggestion to the developers: DONATE the money you make on this brainless game to the people being hurt in this f****** war! Iraquis, Brits and Americans!
Sad enough that a country is going to war WITHOUT an UN resolution, but making money out of it is probably the lowest in human behaviour I have seen in a long time!
Peace now
