I would recommend PLUCKER, its the best offline web browsing software. I use it daily for ten or so sites as well as use it to configure html based ebooks for my 72.
Is there no way to transfer a set files to the device for offline browsing with webpro?
It seems that webpro supports offline browsing through the Open Card option, which implies there is a way to browse the contents of a SD card. However, I am uncertain how I would transfer the web page to the SD card.
Is there anyway to transfer html files to the SD card?
WebPro can read HTML files off the card, you would just have to point webPro to each set of files. I would use the Briefcase folder on your SD card to sync those files maybe with a favorites folder on your desktop so that you can do that.
If you want to try something easier, download PLucker and Sunrise (laurens.typepad.com) and that would be easier for some of the site that you want to visit.
I am trying to demo a web site and do not trust that Plucker or Isolo will render the site correctly. I need to demo the site through Web Pro.
I guess what I do not understand is how to get the HTML files onto the Card.
I drag or add html or a zip archive containing HTML to the Expansion Card pane of the QuickIntsall Window, and attempt to hotsync the files to the card. However Quick Install will not transfer these files and instead just displays the file list with a exclamation mark next to the HTML files.
I do not see any options for a Briefcase folder or any other folders on the card.
