| Wow...that is amazing...I always wanted to do that. I'm sure it'll work...no reason not to. Hopefully you can get it and write a review for us...that would be pretty sweet.

| Good work, I didn't realize that you could buy just the ms adapter.
I've been hoping for something like this to come along, but I don't want to spend the $200 to get the program. It would be great if someone was able to write a simple program that would use that adapter and, say, some rca adapters to be able to display our screens onto a tv. Heck, I'd even pay something for it (not $200 though).

| Anyone tried this out yet? I want to see what a movie from the UX looks like when aplified. I know it'll be kinda pixelated since you're expanding a 320x480 image...but I want to see if it's worth the investment. I think it would be pretty cool if you could take some movies around on the UX to a friends house and such...

| I think when they say "not supported" they mean it doesn't work...
"Presenter-to-Go MS card for SONY not recognized?
Please make sure that you are running v2.60 of the software -
downloadable from our website.
UX50/TJ35 (OS 5.2.x devices) - We do not support these devices."
Although I'm just confused as isn't the UX50 an OS 5.2 (no _._.x) device? I wonder what the restocking fee is...

| Ah...I didn't read that...glad to know before attempting to buy it...I don't know also why the UX50 woudn't be supported, it is the same OS as other devices out there...also, they mention the UX50 not being supported, however, the UX40 isn't mentioned...could that be a mistake? Shouldn't they have said, "UX series not supported"?

| From margi's website... http://www.margi.com/support/sup_ptg_faq.htm#sony2
Can I display the contents of my handheld's screen?
Yes, using the MARGI Mirror Application.
Also....
The e-mail I got back from Margi says is may work on the ux50 but it is not supported. They did say however to try this file. http://www.margi.com/support/presen...yOS5Install.zip
I have one ordered and will let you know if it works. Does anyone know of a cheap vga to ntsc coverter?
I think the reason it didn't work before was that sony ux50's had some problems with the memory stick slot... Ux40's do not have this problem. http://esupport.sony.com/EN/info/mspro-clie.html
Since then, sony released updated ux50 drivers for the memory stick slots.
I think this is the reason ux50's are listed and ux40's aren't. It probably does work..

| let everybody know as soon as you get it please let us all know as soon as you get your card. If it works then I'll get it for sure and this will enable me to take my ux50 to conferences instead of a laptop. wow. At that point all i'd need is for skype to exist for palm os and i'd be set. wishfull thinking most likely...but if margi works that would be huge.
keep us posted.. when do you expect it to arrive? |

| Well, skype would still require you to be within wifi range. The only way the UX would officially solve all my needs, is when the whole world is WiFi, cause then I won't need my cell phone no more.

From past experience (PDA not UX50; but if it works I'm buying), be sure to have an EB40 or better yet the charging cradle plugged in all the time.
