Trouble with TrackerDog synch

Since the 3rd of March my TrackerDog HotSync has been failing. I am getting the following error in the logs:

--- TrackerDog Start ---
--- HTTP error when getting data.
--- The system cannot find the file specified.

--- TrackerDog - Failed to init with TrackerDog server.
--- Error TrackerDog ---
Conduit 'TrackerDog' Error: Unknown error. (FFFF)

I have been using Tracker dog for about 18 months and it has worked flawlessly.

Anyone else having problems? I have e-mailed a0soft to see if they may be able to assist, but I thought that I would ask here as well.

BTW, I upgraded to 2.20 to see if that would fix the problem, but the behaviour is exactly the same.

Many thanks.

I suppose that you did turn on some kind of firewall option

Sony Clie Th55 = Simple as that, the the best pda what I have ever owned! However even it didn't keep me in the Pda world. About my gadgets, I'm now just using my psp, camera and cellphone. Maybe I will someday get a new pda, but it must to have phone cababilities so I don't need to use my regular cellphone anymore. And yeah, this means I won't be hanging in here 1src that much anymore. If someone want me to remove unfinished threads from 1src or something just pm me. Keep your gadgets running!

Not that I know off. We are on dial-up (I know, I know; we live out in the country). Any suggestions on where to look?

Are you actually connected to the Internet when this happens? Or does the DialUp automatically start when some program tries to connect to the Internet.

Seems to me that you may not have established the Internet connection.

Fully connected and that is why I am perplexed. What used to happen is that the TrackerDog dialogue box would come up. Now nothing. Amongst the list of conduits, TrackerDog shows up and then the next conduit.

And this happened mysteriously after 18 months of working just fine.

Now I do have at BT access point, so I could conceivably use my TG50 to connect to the internet via that and then try to do a TrackerDog update. But I am wondering why the hotsync method has begun to fail?

Many thanks for all your help.
