| Working statu bar skin for OKey hack This is NOT a new skin, it's just a modification of the Clie standard skin to allow the use of the OKey hack which adds the hard buttons to the status bar, but without adding the corresponding images. This skin adds these missing images. It's NOT a piece of art, it was merely created because I wanted it.
The buttons on the right side are darker then a normal button so you can still read the clock in front of them and battery meter now shares it's place with the Calender button.

The skin shows up fine, the buttons aren't functional on my NX70 and I do have OKey installed. My question is, how do I get rid of skin without a hard reset?

| And one last addition. The skin doesnt change aANYTHING except the visual appearence. So if okey doesnt work now, it could not have worked before

I didn't, I just HotSync'd it. Now I would like to get rid of the status bar skin with the hard buttons and restore it back to factory. Will Photoskin do this for me? I was reading though some of the threads, but most discuss the VG area. I have messed around with awhile back on the NR70.
Yes, I did enable OKey, I normally don't use the hard buttons. What I miss was being able to move the cursor left to right and back.

You can do a warm reset, which is done by holding the Up button while resetting. This won't load anything so there will be no VG area. Hit Ctrl-H on the keyboard, go to Clie Files, then you can delete the status bar. Then do a regular reset.

Cameron,
Thank you! That fixed it! I totally forgot about the warm reset. I only tried to look at the new status bar it out of curiosity. Then I realized that I couldn't delete it. I do have backups, but I didn't back it up today after a bunch of transactions in Splash Money. I would have had to rebuild it from Quicken but, now you have saved me the trouble.
Thanks again!
Larry

| Really, you should install Photoskin if you like trying out various Skins.
Also I would recommend installing The Clié PalmOS5 Simulator on your Desktop PC. It's just so much more comfortable trying stuff without hotsync and without worrying about your data!

| hansschmucker,
Is it possible to make the "time" display in RED, instead of WHITE? WHite is not very readable with the button background.
I like it. Thank you.

Hans,
Thanks! I was impulsive at the time. My brother has been playing around with the simulator and it works for him. My problem is that I have been lazy

| Ok I figured out that its because I us Netscape.
When I tried the link with IE it worked...
Now that that is done.
Can someone explain OkeyBar's option for SuperJogAssist?
I check it and it seems to do the same thing when its not checked...
I was wondering what does Super JogAssist do???
Thanks
