I dont know what other movie ripper/players there are for the TH55 but I found a sweet one named "Palm Media Studio" that works real well. The program outputs in .3GP platform and comes with a player for the Clie.
It supports rotating the screen for viewing that way too.
If you are watching movies on yours, what are you using to do that?
