Capitalizer is not yet compatible with landscape.

I really hate the clie satusbar and always had it hidden in zlauncher |
Yeah I noticed the same thing, and when I go into preferences to recheck the option it is no longer there. Odd. Oh well landscape is worth it, but if someone figures it out I will be happy to listen. |

| I've seen some posts about ShadowPlan and its partial support for Landscape. However, I tried out ThoughtManager and Bonsai. Both work fine in Landscape! |

| Grafitti 1 installed on my NX80 works perfectly including caps.
Some apps that I am pleased to discover working in landscape are PalmVNC, pssh and SMB Mate.

I'm using both apps but on an NZ90. Both apps co-exist ok on the status bar. The problem is finding the spots that Okey uses to activate the third and fourth hardkeys and the spots that Landscape uses to activate the landscape modes. It is possible to use a stylus to carefully tap the correct spots. But I gave up trying to use the combined Okey/Landscape "sweetspots" and turned off the "scroll up/down" option in Okey. I now use the jog dial for scrolling in landscape because the jog is under my right index finger in reverse landscape mode (I'm a lefty). Very nice, very easy.
I now use Okey on my NZ90 to turn it off automatically when I close the cover. |

Same thing happens on my NZ90. I'm using Shadow ver4.1.1 which I think is the latest version. I agree with you - it looks great in landscape. |

| Japp, that´s why I unsinstalled the Landscape app again. I did not like that it makes the clie (TH-55) forget the VG areas state for each program. Normally the apps seem to remember the VG state -visible or collapsed- but with landscape they don´t and it is quite annoying to collaps the VG everytime I switch from an app back into my launcher, where I definitly don´t need the VG.
I noticed that I don´t actually need landscape too much. For Netfront it is really great, but most other apps work just fine in portrait, and holding my TH55 landscape model-ike is quite strange actually. And apps that profit from Landscape, like the movieplayer, ebookreader a.s.o. have it built in already.
TO THE DEVELOPERS: Landscape APP is really great, but maybe you should concider the VG-state saving option...I would then buy landscape app.

I had an interesting discovery re Graffiti 1 and the Landscape utility.
I recently had to hard reset my NZ90 (unrelated reasons). On a whim, I re-installed only the Landscape utility to see what it would do on a "fresh" machine. To my surprise, Graffiti 1 worked in landscape and reverse landscape modes.
However, after I restored my backup data, Graffiti 1 was messed up again, like it was prior to the hard reset.
Any ideas on which program(s) could be causing conflicts? Must be something common since many users of Landscape seem to have the same problem. |

| I can't play TableTennis3D after I installed it; it messes up the screen.
Anybody tried to install the TT3 version of the game to see if it runs?

| Thanks Joe. Will try it with keepwide. Sounds like the app I need!
TO JJ, well I think it´s good to point out the cons, so they can work on them. Doesn´t help to only point out the good things. That will not increase the product quality. Yes, I should state, that otherwise landscape app is really great and these guys succeeded were others failed. TO the developers: GREAT JOB!

Capitalizer?
I've figured out how Landscape does graffiti support. It remaps strokes from where they actually occur on screen to the two standard graffiti boxes. This does weird things on strokes that go vertically from one box to another, because then the stroke ends up being broken, since the two halves of it get assembled side-by-side instead of one-over-the-other. This is why G2 capitalization doesn't work, and why my quick fixes to Capitalizer haven't worked yet.

| Properly written apps DO remember the VG state in Landscape mode. By "properly written", I mean ones that use my palmResize library as I recommend it to be used. :-) This includes Plucker, PalmBible+ and Filez.
