Anybody tried Okey and Landscape on a NX73/80? Both uses the status bar and there might be conflict and as such I had not try the demo yet...

WOOOOOO HOOOOO I just got Decuma to work dunno why it wouldn't before but here's a tip if you can't find it, I restarted my NX73v and before going into any launcher page open up Decuma then goto whatever you normal launcher is and it worked fine, dunno if this is just a glitch with the NX series, but it works fine now, so on the promise that Mapsonic would work with the full non-bannered version I bought the Landscape app. I have just driven to Tesco's and back with landscape satnav and IT IS COOOOOOOL. I will post some pics later.
As audio player is not supported I need a landscape supported mp3 player now, I have tried demo aero player and pocket tunes but I can't seem to get them full screen, portrait or landscape, I know it is possible coz I have seen screen shots else where, the nice thing is they run from flash so they don't use up the small memory I need for Mapsonic. I want it to run an Itunes skin any ideas please.

ir803 -

For aeroplayer, you need a landscape skin. There are two on the skins page, I suspect there may be more coming now with this utility.

Hi, I'm playing with the demo version and encountered the same problem.
I remember the auther of Appshelf wrote some where that Appshelf detects the system capabilities of the handheld the first time you launch it, maybe it detected that the model only supports portrat mode and only imports wallpapers as 320x480?

Another problem: the extension area(the part with your datebook and stuff) in elonged and still on the top or bottom of the screen, taking up half the screen. I was expecting to see it on the left or right, just like on a UX, though.

But of course, the auther of Appshelf maybe never thought that a landscape utility would come out, though.

I've uploaded three quickie 480x480 backgrounds, they are in the Freeware Backgrounds section.

Thumbs up

I found the graffiti 2 is so horrible in recognizing the CAP. Even a simple stroke cross through the middle line would result a character in different angles That would be great if graffiti 1 is used instead!

On the other hand, I have my AutoCapt crush in landscape mode.

AppShelf has some strange behaviour when toggling the modes, but it is just a minor problem. The same for some other programs.

Anyway, it is a real amazing software, good job! But the price is a little bit high... $10 would be great!

Unhappy Possible McPhling conflict

I noticed I cannot launch McPling with my swipes since I loaded Landscape. Anyone else have this problem?

KK-12C the problem not Landscape

After some experimentation I discovered that KK-12c was conflicting with something other than Landscape and causing my TH55 to crash - it had nothing to do with Landscape.

Anybody else try ShadowPlan with this yet? It looks great, but everytime you go to a "page" that doesn't support fullscreen, when you go back to list view you have to expand/contract the VG in order to get it back into fullscreen. Any one see this?

So grafitti 1 doesn't wok at all? On my NX70 I can't get grafitti to work at all, strictly keyboard.

As far as price, if this were $10 I would not have even flinched, but at $20, I'm debating the value.

You get the same error message with it on or off. The only way I could get SmartList2Go to work was by deleting the landscape utility and doing a soft reset.

I note from Mobile-Streams website that they are some incompatiblities with certain builds of Docs2Go but SmartList2Go isnt mentioned. Anyone having the same problem or have a fix?

The latest version is actually 3.002 ( check here ). It works just fine (portrait and landscape) on my TH55.

Thumbs up I will constantly benefit form the app

People have discussed whether or not this is worth $20. I would certainly have much rather paid less. I did purchase it, and now that I am using it, I don't regret it. If I was only going to use it for one program, as some have mentioned, I don't think it would have been worth it, but I find myself using it with most of my programs now. Landscape is now my default screen orientation, with only a few programs left in portrait (usually because they won't support landscape).
This may be because I use the ThinkOutside IR keyboard a good deal. I am currently in college, and one of the biggest advantages I have gained is being able to lay the TH55 on it's side (which makes it fit better in the keyboard anyway) and use DocsToGo in landscape. This is great for writing papers/taking notes in class, etc.
I use AvantoGo everyday, and I like it in landscape better. BDicty looks great in landscape. BibleReader is far better in landscape. I like Bonsai in landscape, and DayNotez is far better with it. FileZ works just fine in landscape, as does UltraSoft Money. NetFront is obviously better. The entire BeyondContacts suit works this way, and reading/writing emails in landscape is far better.
The list goes on and on. Many of my apps are just as good in landscape or portrait, but there are definitely some that are far better in landscape. I only find myself very occasionally using my TH55 in portrait anymore, and that is usually when the particular app forces portrait.
Obviously, you mileage may vary, but this has become one of my favorite purchases for my PDA.
Now if I could just find some way to get a VPN client to run IPSec with certificates (so that I could access the campus wireless network), I would have a complete laptop replacement!

Am I the only one having problems with Grafitti 1 in landscape? Backspace is reversed, and anything written in the alpha area results in numbers. I'm also using Capitalizer on an NX70.

Arrow Zlauncher full screen button

OK, one odd think I noticed: as soon as I installed the landscape app, the button in the lower right corner of the zlauncher to hide the clie statusbar disapeared, even in the zlauncher settings it disapeared. Is that normal? anyone else having this problem?
I really hate the clie satusbar and always had it hidden in zlauncher

Now is the time for someone to invent "Decuma anywhere" I believe pocket pc (thbpha, thbpha ) will let you write across the screen and only uses the area at the bottom for individual letter recognition.
You know once some clever bugger creates an amazing app (and yes I bought it too now) they will always open the door for the need for more. well done guys, you happily have my $20.
