| play Flashback now !!!! i decide to release a preview of this new port, this is still alpha stage : http://capers.free.fr/Flashback/download/flashback.prc
Controls are (not tested) :
- Hard button 3 : use object (phaser...)
- Hard button 2 : inventory
- Hard button 4 : run
- Hard button 1 : use or not gun
It's a bit slow but it works, there is actually no optimization
The source code and a new version will be available soon
This is a port of the REminiscence engine by the greatest Cyx http://membres.lycos.fr/cyxdown/reminiscence/ |

| All Flashback files or just some of them (which)?
Ok. In REminiscence readme I've found that:
"You will need the original files, here is the required list :
FB_TXT.FNT
GLOBAL.ICN
GLOBAL.FIB
GLOBAL.SPC
*.OFF
*.SPR
*.MAP
*.PAL
*.ANI
*.CT
*.MBK
*.OBJ
*.PGE
*.RP
*.TBN
*CINE.*"

| Sounds works ok, but it's a bit choppy and a bit too loud.
The game is much slower now. Cutscenes works ok.
I have english version datafiles, when I chose french the game exits to launcher, there is dynamic memory lose (about 200kb) and my T3 becomes unstable (that cost me one hard reset ).

| Mmm, will have to dig out my old Flashback floppies now...!
Any word on whether this works with the Sony GC-10 controller?
My TH55 doesn't have a 5-way, and also the hard buttons suck |

| Another bug, T3 only:
There are problems with screen updates after using the slider and switching to landscape (black sreen here) and back (gfx errors here).
It's similar to ScummVM T3 landscape bug. |

| should work with GC controller in key emulation mode.
This problem of memory lose on T3 is really strange ... this is theorically impossible since the system release any chunks of memory on exit, same for the stabilty problem
perhaps i missed something .... |
