IceType? GlassFont? GlassType? FontSmoother?

OK, it looks like I've removed most of the bugs from my antialiased font hack. I still may have a bug in the font generator code (PalmFontConv), so that needs to be fixed.

I got a lot of good name suggestions. Thank you! I'm down to four finalists. Votes are welcome.

No offense, but where is the "none of the above" option?

I dont like "Fontsmoother", but its the only one that really fits.

I said Smoother. Someone just took my idea further.

Ditto... I voted Fontsmoother because it's the best of the bunch -- but I don't really like any of them. I wish I could offer up something else.

I took the four suggestions I liked best from the other thread... I do want the name to be one of them.

I voted IceType because FontSmoother is a bit TOO straightforward, and too PalmOS-ish. I also don't like the word 'smoother.'

I kind of liked the_iceman's NuClearType. But oh well.

BTW, who wins if GlassFont wins? You suggested that yourself quoting my entry of "ClearGlass"
http://www.1src.com/forums/showthre...font#post760139

Anyways, hope the voting goes well!

I won't buy it if you don't choose the one I voted for. Which was that? Guess!

I like NuClearType as well. Creative in my opinion, and I always like plays on words. Of the choices above, IceType get my vote. Fontsmoother, while descriptive, sounds like a drink someone would order in the tropics.

Or maybe NuKularType as some in higher offices might say.

Well, of course, I voted for IceType. I suggested it in the first place. Why? Because it's "Cool, and Clear".

I see Fonst4OS5 3.2 is out with support for "Fontsmoother" so I guess a release of the later is close??
