| Still enjoying the podcast. I look forward to it now!
After years of reading stuff on these PalmOS sites, it's really cool to hear something along the same lines while I surf elsewhere or whatever. It really brings it home.
A PalmOS phone as was mentioned in the podcast would be awesome. |

| It would be better to compare the Fossil watch to the original Zire instead of the 21. The 21 has more 8MB of memory, 126MHz processor, and OS 5.2. The watch has OS 4.1, 66MHz, and 2MB. Those line up with the Zire more, especially since some things will only run on OS 5. |

Actually, the release version of the watch has 8MB. The 2MB version was scrapped. And I'm not sure what version of PalmOS the release uses. |

| Brighthand reports OS 4.1. The inclusion of 8MB instead of 2 really helps the device. |

| Good Podcast. I liked that information on Window CE was presented because intelligent decisions do involve considering all options.
I have recently toyed with the idea of eventually purchasing a Windows CE device, but still keeping my T3. I find the 640x480 screen to be a bit tempting, especially since the book readers I use are available on CE also. The Windows devices seem to handle multi-media better and I am beginning to get a little frustrated with my wi-fi card that refuses to play streaming audio without a soft reset.
I get mixed opinions about Windows CE concerning programs continuing to run in the background, alarms not sounding when they should and it's difficult to tell what is current and what is based on old information. Now if I could just find out how much battery time one could expect from an HP 640x480 device.
Nobody, whether Windows CE or Palm seems to want to ever talk about battery time very much. It's like it's an embarrassing little secret. |

| Jeff, I just wanted to thank you, Reggie, and Joel for your Podcasts! I have really enjoyed listening to them. I have visited Writing On Your Palm for several years and have enjoyed your reviews/commentaries very much, but it's nice to have this new format available.

| Good Podcast!!! Nice to listen to, but where is the low-bandwith ogg version?
However, just one little note-TamsPalm had the stuff about the Zodiac way before this PODcast... . I don't know where our friend took that argument from;-P |

#9 | | Guest | Good podcasts Great podcast - really helpful when considering what to get. I found another good source for technical information of this kind comes in the "Easy PC, Lemon squeezy" feature from the Mangolounge show( http://www.mangolounge.com/good-podcasts.htm). Its not done every month but it is a great occasional feature. Thanks for your podcasts - look forward to the next one! Have a great day y'all, S | |
