| Sorry to beg, but as kennyd asked, does anyone know if this is compatible with the Zodiac?? It's got the same HiRes portrait screen that the TH and VZ do, so why not? If it's not compatible, what would have to be done to make it compatible? Thanks!
(the Zodiac community is in dire need of a better browser than the one supplied with the Zodiac.) |

| Why not try it out on the Zodiac then and see what happens? Backup your data first, of course.

| I'm guess they did try it rcxAsh, but their is a popup built into NetFront that I translated saying "Sony CLIE only." Also their is another section that says NetFront v3.1 for Sony CLIE. Basically, this version has been moded for CLIE only. Sorry guys, I only can change text, I don't know anything about the programming of NetFront. Ask some of the programmers of this forum. They probably can build a patch for NetFront to work on the Zodiac.

| I just loaded it but dont have Wifi access @ the moment. But I do like the fact that the size of the file is smaller.

Sorry, we probably cant do that legally. Sony and Zodiac devices have licensed Netfront versions already installed. To put it on a different handheld is definitely breaking some laws.
By the way, I didnt notice the carriage returns feature, but thats exciting, because it is useful when posting from handheld devices.

| Woo, now posting this from my UX40.
Carriage returns are working lovely.
BTW, can this not be put in the AliasExt folder? I tried it, but NetFront 3.0 was still there.
Thanks JAmerican!
lol, JAmerican Revision... haha

| Congrats to JAmerican for taking this on.
I downloaded this new version and my experience is that it didn't handle some simple pages such as Yahoo as well as the TH version of 3.1. However, it did handle MS Exchange Server better so I am on the fence with this. Where it is new, I think I will stick with my trusty 'tried and true' TH version.
Thanks for your efforts, JAmerican.

| bump that...I got some conflicts with random pages in this version while my previous TH version worked fine. I guess I'll have to deal with the tab and return key problems still

Sorry it didn't work out for you guys. Could you explain the problem more clearly though. I don't understand what's wrong.
Thanks,
JAmerican

No, because a NetFront 3 already exists. AliasExt only places shortcuts for programs that are new to the device. I use ZLauncher shortcuts to load NetFront 3.1 that way my bookmarks and data is always storedon my Int. Media and cannot be lost. I have a WiFi card to so thats my only place to store not PRC or PDB files.
