It's no problem to add, I coded the file dialogs so that they can handle any type of open/save operations, I just need to add another case to a few methods.

Everyone that sent me an email about beta testing: Thanks!

I haven't responded to many of you yet, but don't worry. As I get further into the development I'll contact more of you. I just found out that I MAY be going to Europe this summer, so I really have to get cranking with this product (as I have no money).

I may also have a small job for someone to do if anyone's interested. It's mindless data entry, probably takes a couple/few hours of work, and you need to have Dreamweaver installed (a demo or whatever). I'll post details later.

Would you be interested in some data entry? You just have to install dreamweaver, and enter numbers/words into a text file in a format I'll explain to you. I think it's maybe 3 hours work? Give or take a bit. I can give you all of my company's software free if you want, and around $20-25? It's easy work, just tedious.

robitaille88 is doing it for me, should've replied faster

no skills... it's really easy, just tedious and boring. Which is why I'm outsourcing it

Progress Update:

I've done a lot with the CSS editor, but it's a HUGE amount of work. Would you people mind if I left it out for v2? I can probably release this a lot faster if I leave this out.

I've gotten various other things done too. Hopefully I can get this done early on this summer vacation, since I'll have a lot more free time now.

If anyone knows someone who can design good (small) icons or knows a good resource for them, please let me know. This is my weak point.

my sister is a graphic design artist, and I too jump in and lend her a hand here and there. Maybe we can knock this out??? What exactly are you looking for in a design, what size, etc???

I do not have a problem with CSS in a version 2. I am most interested in the HTML/Text editor features. I am looking forward to v.1. Thanks!

ungottable: Thanks for the offer. I don't need anything designed until probably a few weeks from now. I'll send you an email or something at that point. They would be for the small icons in the program, like the buttons for Table, Link, Image, CSS etc wizards.

As for CSS, I think I'll include a CSS insertion wizard, but the full CSS editor won't be until v2. It's a lot of work, since it has to parse your CSS definitions. It's very cool though, I have a couple things in it working.

I just finished the Table wizard. Since I dropped CSS support, development will move a lot faster now.

as long as you can still edit css in the text editor it would be fine... I don't need a "css editor" (though it could be cool)

but much of my work is making small changes to css files...

again, if you need help, let me know

You can still edit them. You just won't be able to use a 'visual' (form-based dialog) editor for modifying your existing CSS code, since I don't have the time right now to write that parser. I'll do it for v2. It's probably 10-30 hours work.

Addendum: You'll (probably) be able to insert new CSS code using the visual designer. However, for now you won't be able to edit existing CSS code with the designer. It's a lot of work to take user-written CSS code and put it back into the visual designer.
