bcringo TH55 my new buddy Join Date: Jun 2002 Location: Louisiana Posts: 102	Lexi Drugs vs Dr.Drugs I am using epocrates(free version) and Dr. Drugs (from Skyscape). I have not tried or heard much about LexiDrugs. Has anyone tried both Lexi and Dr.Drugs? Which is best?

I originally got Lexi from Skyscape. Eventually, they dropped Lexi and started selling DrDrugs, so now I have that. I think either is better than ePocrates, but I didn't notice much difference between Lexi and DrDrugs.

I also use it for quick dosing info for the non-renal failure non-liver impaired patient. It's also ok for drug-drug interactions. If I need to know adverse reactions/contraindications/complex dosing etc I go to Lexi. My frequent frustration with Lexi (mine is 2 years old but I think it's still present) is if I want to know a particular formulation of something like a cough syrup or nitroglycerin, it will often have many lumped together without specific dosing info for each brand. I can usually still figure things out though.

Unregistered Guest Posts: n/a	Lexidrugs Anyone have the old version of Lexidrugs Version 4.1.3 and or Apothecarium? I am an EMS worker and I used Lexidrugs in a course I took for training. It was great but they no longer make it. However I found a site that still has the trial version. I called Skyscape but it is no longer supported so I can't buy the unlock key. Any help appreciated.
