I have Sony Clie Peg-Nx70V. I have installed the CF Utility and the MsProupdate. I would like to use my Compact Flash with The Data Import. When i open the Data Import and switch to CF, My PC computer doesn't recognize the CF the way it should as Memory Stick. I think it requires a Special Driver to recognize the CF, which i don't have. My PC shows "New Hardware Found and Searching for a Driver"
what should i do to make my PC recognize the CF Data Import?
Please help me i have been trying to make this work in the past few days now!!!
click on (download the storage drivers for windows) to download the drivers and paste them to C/windows/system32/drivers and use the advanced method and point to them then your computer should ask if you want to use a sony usb mass storage driver click yes or whatever
I have this problem also. Iguana, you are assuming we have not installed the drivers for the computer. You are assuming wrong: as quoted above, the transfer works fine for the memory stick, but not for CF. I can say for sure, the problem is at the Clié side of things, as it has a different response upon clicking the connect button.
I have NZ90/E but I downloaded MSPro Patch from USA site and Data Import didn't work with CF (write on the screen No Memory Stick) but MS worked correctly.After I downloaded MSPro Patch from UK site and now this work good
I think this would work 100% and it is faster to dowload. It would cost me about 25 bucks a Card REader and Writer, compared to a broken PDA if I got really pissed trying to fix this problem. The CF utility and Driver sucks bcoz it doesn't give a freakin Instruction.
