RxCalc and MedCalc appear to be two different pieces of software. Both pieces of software are listed at PalmGear. MedCalc is at verison 5.1 and RxCalc is at version 4.0. I hope this helps.

By the way, RxCalc was formerly known as DoseCalcPlus.

Thanks,

ZLauncher 4.30 is causing some Fatal Resets. I have hunch the problem lies with graphics ("Window Graphics.c, Line 1876, empty bitmap family"). I installed the latest prc from ZZTechs website.

powerOne Graph only works in 320x320 (did I report 320x480?).

Bonsai 3.3.1 (latest)
320x480

Bonsai or the T5 produced a white screen first time I opened it. I did a soft reset and it worked fine subsequently. But this isn't restricted to Bonsai, because I've encountered that white screen in other initial openings too. Maybe I'm not waiting long enough for the T5 to do something?

PregPro 4.05 (a 2001 version) 320x320
Medium
No longer supported, but worth knowing that some really old software runs fine.

Bejewelled 2.0 320x320
Medium

Filez 5.40017
320x320
URL?

FlashBoom
320x320
Another really old, black and white app (for measuring duration between lightning and thunder).

Cellulitis
320x320
A practice guidline that uses an old version of NSBRuntime.
Works fine.
Medium
Not available commercially.

BreakOut 1.1

My favourite time-waster

Minehunt, the original PalmPilot version, no longer works: just a garbled screen, requiring soft reset.

ABGPro 2.2

AcidImage 3.011
320x480

Works flawlessly, and looks just great on the T5's big screen.

Acid Solitaire 3.03
320x480

Planetarium 2.3.1f

Also looks great on the big screen.

In addition to Bejeweled, I have the most recent versions of Candy Train, Big Money, Hedgehog, Text Twist, Tradewinds, Chainz, Tantric and Noah's Ark, all from Astraware, and they all run fine too. Tradewinds even runs centre screen on the T5 i.e. not with the DIA area to fill in the bottom of the screen.

Right.

The answer is definitely that I did not wait long enough for the T5 to respond. I saw this the first time I used several newly apps. Lately I've been waiting -- the screen always comes back eventually. The wait isn't very long. Subsequently the apps open as fast as always (promptly).

You should be testing the newer versions for compatibility, not the older ones.
:-)

I would like to see some older versions tested. Like SmartListToGo V2.603, for instance.

Anyone have Pocket Quicken who could check both the execution on the PDA and the hotsync conduit?

When I tap and hold an application and select Move To Card, the only card it offers is the internal drive. If you actually move an app there, it causes a fatal error and I have to do a soft reset. The only way to get out of the problem is to delete the moved program with Uninstall Manager.

I'd be interested to see if anyone else is getting this. The Card Info app on the T5 recognises that there are two different cards, and if I exit from ZLauncher I can access and see the SD card perfectly well.

OK, so I dropped a line to ZZTechs, they sent me version 4.31 of ZLauncher and it works, the device now shows both Internal and SD cards, and I can move programs to the SD card without crashes.

Check www.zztechs.com for the updated version.

I've searched and can't find the answer to this question: What kinds of problems are seen with Shadow Plan 4 on the T5? In the Shadow support newsgroup the developer doesn't seem too interested in "reverse engineering" his program to fix the issues caused by P1's OS, so inquiring minds want to know how severe the problems are.

BTW, I do want to say that the developer's been incredibly supportive and responsive in the past, so I think this simply reflects his frustration with P1 and not an unwillingness to continually improve his great program which I've been running on my TC for years. I can't migrate completely to another PDA unless I know that Shadow will run properly!

I have tested the image viewer GrxView vers. 2.8.2 (www.indevsoftware.com) to a medium degree with JPGs and BMP files and works great.

I have run Hellfire vers. 1.00.04 (http://www.astraware.com/palm/featu...e=0205-111-0111) to a medium degree and it works fine (runs in 320x320 mode only)

iSilo 4.15 OK

Hi

I am using iSilo 4.15 and it works on 480 x 320 mode. (Medium confidence)

I also installed ThoughtManager (beamed from my m515) and it
opened in 320x320 -- haven't tried to do anything with it. (Low confidence).
http://www.handshigh.com/

Brainforest 3.08 works in 320x320 modem (medium confidence).
http://www.ultrasoft.com/BrainForest/Wish
Wish this one was 320 x 480.

Web Confidential 1.4 works in 320x320 (medium confidence)
Patience 2.6.1 works (medium confidence, 320x320).

Salling Clicker 2.2.372 works in 320x480.
http://homepage.mac.com/jonassalling/Shareware/Clicker/
(This is a neat app that lets you remote control various functions on
your Mac with your Palm (or phone) using BlueTooth).

PocketChess 1.1 works (low confidence) 320x320. This is a really old app.

Kalk 3.07 works (low confidence)
http://www.klawitter.de/palm/kalk.html

-------------------------------------------

Where you know it could you add to the list an indication of whether the app uses the whole 320x480 screen ??

Thanks - Michael

I have not got Lexidrugs, PEPID or Sanford Guide running yet on my T5. Part of that is due to the change in Device ID, requiring answers from Customer Support, but part might be due to changes in the T5's software. I'm still working on all 3, since they are my key references at work.

PEPID needs a fancy workaround that unhooks HotSync's timeout, for example. PEPID is offering T5 users access to their online version while they work on the problem.
