| I've just installed these programs, hence the lower confidence levels which may go up over time.
Mobipocket 4.8, build 413 www.mobipocket.com - Low-Medium (runs 320x480...nice!)
Epocrates Rx 7.0 www.epocrates.com - Low-Medium
iSilo 3.35 www.isilo.com - Low (but the pop up menu in the lower left corner disappears periodically; runs 320x320)
Lance, how about of list of programs that we know DON'T work at this time? It would save others same grief until those programs are updated.
i.e. BBVFS 2.15 www.bluenomad.com I get a fatal error |

| Hmm, little confused on the confidence levels,[compatibility levels?], what I think the basic question to know as a T3/OS 5.2.1 user considering upgrading is:
1. Does the software work like it did on the T3? and what version.
For example pTunes 3.04 would have to answer No. to the above question but pTunes 3.05 is a Yes, Other No's would be Built in Calendar app, BackupMan, ShadowPlan, DateBk5 etc.....
Cool.. "Need" level works for me, thx...

| The confidence levels have to do with the amount of testing for the software. Someone might load and use the application for five to ten minures, while others might have used the software for hours over the past week. Thus, a 'High' confidence level should be representative of someone who relies on this application a lot and knows the application has been extently tested. On the other hand, a 'Low' confidence level should be representative of someone who used the software for fifteen or twenty minutes and did not run into any problems just testing the basic functionality.
As iPalm alluded to, the confidence level should go up over time, and I will update the confidence levels as appropriate.
I hope this clarifies the confidence levels and my intentions.
Thank you,
Lance |

| Lance your going above and beyond as usual!!! Thanks!..
Another thing to note if possible is what the latest version of the software that is listed is released for example iSilo is currently @ 4.15 (perhaps a type above?) |

| No, not a typo. I haven't upgraded to iSilo 4.15 yet, so I can't speak for that version. |

| SmartList To Go 3.001
Causes error on start:
(Sys 0505) (0, 841)
Then fatal exception -> reset
This sucks. It's one of my 'must have' apps from my TE. |

| It would be easier to sort/understand if the apps that 'need' to be updated are separated from the compatible ones... |

| Hi Lance
I have Kinoma 2.2.2 installed and working with the videos that were already on my card. I haven't tried installing anything new, but existing videos play fine (albeit, not in full screen).

A. | I sent them several files where the audio and video would not sync up throughout the video. In fact, they would get worse as time progressed. Anyway, there were able to duplicate the problem, and they are working on resolving the issue.
Thanks,
Lance |

Thanks,

I converted the files direct on to card, and didn't use Hotsync, maybe this made a difference.

You should be testing the newer versions for compatibility, not the older ones.
