| Neuromancer I just found my old copy of the Interplay game "Neuromancer" (late 80's based off of the Gibson novel)
I have the .exe and the .dat files.
Are there any emulators that will allow me to play this game on my clie?
Sorry for the compleatly clueless question, but this is the first game that has realy sparked my interest so I'm compleatly new to game emulators

#3 | | Guest | Neuromancer for Palm Heya M@C, I'm writing a neuromancer-like game for the palm platform. Complete with cyberspace and systems to hack. It's still in the early stages of development, but I should have something to show in a few months. ZacC@Canada.com

| Sounds great! What language are you writing it in? Just out of curiousity... I've been wondering about game engines or languages for the Palm format... don't really know much about it. |

#5 | | Guest | Neuromancer for Palm I'm writing it in C using VFDIDE/GCC. I am keeping the engine and the module isolated from eachother (like scumm) so it will be easy to bring out a module-maker and aditional storyline/modules. ZacC@Canada.com

#6 | | Guest | Just to let people know,
I've started a website for the Neuromancer/Shadowrun type game I'm making. There's not a lot to show yet, and the screenshots are VERY crude because I've spent NO time on graphics, but feel free to have a look http://members.shaw.ca/zac-c/

| Looks pretty neat. As you mentioned the graphics are a little rough, but clean them up nicely and it should look good. I look forward to future updates. |

#9 | | Guest | No worries, I will be making both high and low res versions. I think I'm even going to make a mono version for people with older devices.

#13 | | Guest | Hehehe, despite the crude-at-this-point graphics, I don't need any help right now. I'm concentrating on getting the engine done. I do appreciate the offer tho Thanks
Almost all the graphics reside in the module, so it's very easy to swap them out. For those interested in making graphics, I will be releasing a module-maker after the main game so can create your own storylines
