| Search 4 PowerRun. This program makes it possible 2 move and launch apps
from a MS or CF card. |

| ZLauncher is better Try ZLauncher instead. It gives you the PowerRun features plus a whole lot more... and for less money than PowerRun. Quote: | Originally Posted by yatta Search 4 PowerRun. This program makes it possible 2 move and launch apps

| You don't need any special software to install or run apps from the MS; you can specify 'Memory Stick' for the install destination instead of 'Handheld' with the default Palm Install Tool.
The Install Tool will create a directory /PALM/Launcher folder on the MS and install the PRG files; you should be albe to select MS [or what-ever you named your Memory Stick] under the categories and see all the apps you have installed.
Downside: you are not able to assign any of the apps on the MS to a category; they all fall under MS.
Upside: Frees up the 16MB of handheld RAM, and if my Palm crashes hard all the apps are still available on my MS w/o re-installing/restoring.
I have instaleld several differnet games, MegaCommander, WorldMate, WebPro, Mapopolis and many other such programs to my MS.
Some apps will require components to be in the handheld memory; for example, I have mapopolis.prc on the MS, but I must have mapopoliswords.pdb in the handheld memory. [The app will tell you when it cannot find a file in memory]. I have had similar problems w/ the Ultima games.
I tried JackFlashLight [v3.0b14] on the NZ90 and found it only has 63k of free flash -not really a lot of use. Maybe there are differnet ROM versions of the NZ90?
I hope this helps you some.

| DataVizTech .prc fix for Documents To Go Thanks, Broo... I tried yr approach, but could never find the apps. I'll try reading the manual.
I went to the DataViz site, cause I'd tried to move my DTG apps and could never find them on the launcher... you can't just move the files and programs bit by bit, I guess. DataViz has a small, free .prc (called DataVizTech) that moves the files in the orderly way that DTG requires. I installed the app and it moved the programs and files to the card. I see the apps in the launcher just fine. There's a little bit of hesitation with the documents opening, but no major hassle. And I have about 4 more Mbs of space free than I had before. I am still going to try out ZLauncher per the above recommendation unless someone has had problems with it.
Once again, thx for the responses. |

| Use Jackflash AND Powerun To free almost 3 MB on your NZ, use the jackflash, NOT the light edition (only 64Kb), but the last edition (3.0b)
If your problem is memory (and ONLY 11MB is a problem), I suggest use powerun instead Zlauncher: Of course, comparing both programs, Zlauncher is cheaper, BUT remember that Zlauncher EATS almost 1MB of your little RAM, and powerun only 64KB, and you can put this in ROM with jackflash (like my NZ). |
