Use Filez, it can pretty much beam anything.

#47 | | Guest | Can anybody run this program, and share with us the Tungsten|T5 device ID* it prints. I guess many developers would be glad to gain this info.
*This is the ID unique to all of the Tungsten|T5 devices. This is not a serial number etc. | |

Dont laugh at me for trying, you have to have drivers installed for Sony's software to work. If it didnt need drivers, I would not have tried.

I think this is evident. It has a much better battery, and a more efficient processor. It cant beat the TH-55, but it can trump the T3.

yeah, i know this. is it true that the 1300mah battery + more efficient processor can give t5 40% better battery life? i can't find anywhere about the measurement about this t5 vs t3 in batt life. |

| Ok: some T5 owner needs to run Battery Time and put the battery life discussion to bed. Download it from Palmgear, set bluetooth and beam recieve off and turn your screen brightness to its lowest setting.
How long does it run? A stock T3 runs 3:20. |

How long does it run? A stock T3 runs 3:20. | I am charging the T3 and will be running the test as you suggested. Update: Battery Time will not run on the T5.
I was at an Awana Leadership Conference all day, and I used the T5 off and on during the day taking notes and checking e-mail via my Sony-Ericsson T616. I would have barely made it through days like today with my T3 before having to charge it. With the T5, I am setting at 74%. In addition, I could have ran the battery to 0% and not have had to worry about losing anything. Something to think about.
Thanks,
Lance

| Lance,
are you experiencing any of the issues that have driven Gekko to return his T5? Mainly the global 'find' issue and other speed or screen refresh issues.
It's too bad the battery program won't run. Have you tried BatteryGraph to keep track of the on time?
Thanks for your continued updates. |
