Join Date: Jan 2003 Location: south wales UK Posts: 787	z launcher 5 plugins At the mment I am using Facer 2 pro, I am very dissapointed with the lack of help with their skin maker, I now see the Z Launcher has developed plugins, do they exist for calendar and today pages so I can have my main info I get with the today page of Facer but with the the usefullness of Zlauncher, if so I may finally be converted and maybe I'll even start making my skins for Zlauncher as so many people have requested in the past. has a full ZL 5 been released yet and where can I get the plugins to try out. __________________ ***Cliemax is going offline soon so I will start posting skins n' stuff on my new blog, please go and visit MY BLOG :laugh:***

YellowRose ~~ Blue Mod ~~ Join Date: Feb 2003 Location: VA Posts: 2,733	Yes, you CAN do that . . . it's a today 'tab' and you can set it so it's the first thing that comes up every time you start your PDA. ~ you'll want to use the Datebk plug in - it shows to dos & datebook items. how is this achived?? I tried to configure by 'start on 1st tab' in ZLprefs. Nevertheless, if I turn off while in another tab, thats where I start when I power on, not the Today tab...

help??

ps is this a new feature of b3.1??

ir803 damn red pill !!! Join Date: Jan 2003 Location: south wales UK Posts: 787	ok I tried Zlauncher and have to say Dahorns Gant skin is gorgeous better than my Facer gant skin. But the plugins just don't compare, the area provided for plugins is nowhere near big enough, when I made the font big enough to read there is not enough room for more than a couple of entries and if you touch an entry you go to the relevent app. the advantage I find with Facer is that if I'm in the car i can tap on the to do or calendar item and a slightly longer description comes up without opening the necessary app this means quick access to relevent data like address or phone numbers on a calendar item so I will stick with facer for the moment, as I have found on previous demo's of Zlauncher it is very complicated, (only as much as you need I guess) and the skins available are excellent where as the new Facer pro skin maker is useless for Hi res plus devices because of a background image issue. Facer pro and Mac os theme stays on my NX73v for now __________________ ***Cliemax is going offline soon so I will start posting skins n' stuff on my new blog, please go and visit MY BLOG :laugh:***

Yep! And a tap will take you to the program of your choice.

ZLauncher . . . it's a beautiful thing!

I think you missed the whole screen thing there ir803 and just found the plugin bar which is not so useful to display the today data.
