| Pocket DVD Studio new feature coming Just got an email response to my suggestion letting me know that they will include the ability to select different audio encoding options in their next release. It will be great NOT to have to use VirtualDub to fix the MP3 audio soundtracks that Sony's Movie Player doesn't like. I will let you know if I get a firm date as to when they expect to release the upgrade. |

| Dude, why not just buy MMPlayer and you won't have to worry about it. I got tired of have to rip the DVD, then encode it with Virtualdub for audio then IC it just to get Kinoma to play it. That is like a 6 hr process. Just get MMplayer and you got yourself a 2hr process of ripping the DVD and that is it. They play great and sound great on my TJ37.
Sorry, don't mean to rag on you. It is a good idea though so it is definately a option to have suggested. It will atleast give everyone a second option. Thanks for suggesting it to them.

| MMPlayer and the TH55 don't play well together otherwise I would. AND as I understand it MMPlayer doesn't intend to make their program TH55 friendly because Sony quit making them and there is no future in it.

| That sucks. Sorry to hear that. Yeah, I was using Kinoma player for awhile and it was such a hassle doing all the conversions. So, I broke down and bought MMPlayer.

Hi
I too emailed asking about alternatives to mp3 encoding and they emailed back saying they are considering PCM audio as an option on future releases but wished to know what audio options I might like to see.I thought having PCM,WMA and QuickTime might be good. What does anyone think would be best? |

I didn't think that Quicktime was an audio codec. In any event, several alternatives are clearly better than one. PCM would be my first choice although WMA works too. I'll be curious to hear what others have to say. It might be a good idea to create a new thread with the title: "What audio codecs do you want in PocketDVD?" This thread isn't getting a lot of attention. |

Hallo!
I tried the MMPlayer with my NX73 and it resets with the DVDStudio - Movie I produced before. I think its better to make the DVD-Studio to run with the Sony-Converter.
Greetings

| Does MMPlayer play fullscreen (landscape) video as nicely as MoviePlayer on the TH55?
When I enlarge video on MMPlayer on my TC, it looks pixellated. I remember Movie Player scales up video very nicely, looks great widescreen. |

Um, no. They have been on 1.2.6 since this thread started, and they don't even bother to answer emails about this new 'feature' they were supposedly going to add. As far as I'm concerned I guess I'll just be taking my business elsewhere since 1.2.6 does NOT allow you to choose the audio codec. |

| Ummm, version 2.0 came out yesterday. Download it from Handango. I haven't installed the new version yet, so not sure about new features.

| Ummm... well okay fine but their company still SUCKS at customer service, and did you notice THEIR OWN HOMEPAGE on the software still says 1.2.6? What the hell? It is also 1.2.6 on PalmGear.com!!!!! I'm not a Handango shopper.
This company should get its s*** together, imo. |

| Just downlaoded 2.0 from the ONE place it's available, Handango... and looks like this feature is NOT in it. How lame... Is it really that hard to add this as a feature? |
