I ordered a used Clie sj33 of ebay and it came with a retractable hot syncer/charger. I'm sure that y'all are familiar with the kind that charge and hotsync at the same time. The charger works great but the hot sync does not. I've plugged the hot sync into the USB ports in both the back and front of my computer and it did not work. My old hot sysc cord worked just fine. My hot sync screen is set to cable/cradle. Do y'all have any ideas or suggestions? I think my computer has a 1.1 USB port. If the hot syncer/charger is a 2.0 USB( I'm not sure if it is) will that matter? Any help will be appriciated!!!!!

What happens when you try to Hotsync, does the screen come up? It does not do anything? Which Win OS you are running? The Palm Desktop is for Clie or Palm?

When I try to hotsync the screen does come up but it will not turn over. It will not do anything. I have a Win Me and My Palm desktop is for Clie.

I guess if it is not even starting you are not even getting errors. I guess you are trying ot hotsync by pressing the icon on the PDA since you do not have a cradle. The problem might be the cable than.
