Question NZ vs NX screen brightness??

i dont own either model as of yet so im hoping you can shed som light on the subject (no pun intended). i was at my local comp usa and had the oppertunity to compare the 2 models side by side and it seemed quite obvious right off the bat that the NZ screen was at least 5 times brighter than that of the NX. i wasnt too sure as to how to adjust or even check the contrast level on either machine so im not sure if this what caused the night and day difference. the NZ screen looked crisp and vibrant, while the NX seemed dull with an almost gray/brown film over the screen. my question is: how does the NX fair next to the NZ when both are at max brightness? is it a screen resolution thing? because i have read on this board that the screen is far brighter. i just wanted to varify this claim. anyone own both, or had a chance to fiddle with the brightness controls?

thanks,

travis

There was just a discussion on this.

Well you have seen for yourself that the NZ is brighter and nicer. In some cases it might be too bright, even the NX is in most situations. The screen resolution is the same for both.

That helps the battery out alot to....

I read some review somewhere that said the reviewere had set brightbess @ 50% on NZ to match NX and in return dramatically incresed battery charge length....
