| Screen Protectors & Phatom Strokes -Yes/No? I'm trying to see if anyone with a screen protector is less prone to phatom strokes.
If you do not experience Phantom Strokes (meaning you write an "e" but end up with a "d" on the screen, PLEASE chime in on which screen protector you own!

| I have a BoxWave Cleartouch - no probs for me, except for the fact that I am using Graffiti 2 instead of Graffiti 1.
Personally, the way that the keystrokes are laid out in G2, I think that the G2 is more prone to ghost strokes than G1 -- two strokes for one character is the work of the devil |

| I am using a micro writeguard and just recently went back to using Graffiti 1 instead of 2. I agree with KnightM. Using 2 strokes for a letter ended up with more missed characters but now with Graffiti 1, less errors and it's faster.

| I am using an Innopocket and have problems with 'phantom strokes' only intermittently, not enough to make it a big problem.
I recently purchased a Brando 'Ultra-Clear' and am hoping that it will be as good when I decide to apply it. |

| I have an MF protector on my TH55 and very occasionally get phantom strokes. It was a lot worse the first time I applied the protector - I think I had air bubbles underneath it. But after reapplying it, most of my problems have gone. |

| I have the Brando Ultra Clear protector and usually get phantom strokes and poor recognition. I hear the key is to apply the protector as light as possible. Will try it someday.

| I have tried Global Source's A.R.M. and Brando's Ultra Clear and both of them produce significant problems. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling being v-e-r-y gentle with no improvement. I'm going to go back to Graffiti 1 as soon as I find the thread where how to do it is located. |

| I use the Global Source A.R.M. with the TH-55/E1 and have had no problems at all. I'm using G1.

| Out of frustration with paying a lot for something that made my handheld harder to use, I ordered and just installed a new screen protector and it works great!!! It's also cheap - only $4.50 USD, but better quality than either Brando or Global's ARM. In that I tried the expensive ones and they didn't do the job I figured let me try something else.
The company can be found at the link below. http://store.allmobi.com/pda-screen...-sony-th55.html |

Yuriv,
Unfortunately, the Brando Ultra-Clear is the one I purchased and I DO have phantom strokes with it. Sorry.

Most of the phantom strokes I get are at the end of a letter/number I have drawn. So an "o" becomes a "d". I'm not sure Graffiti 1 would cure this?
